Following his win, we caught up with Markus to talk about his Daddy era and what the future holds.
Congratulations on winning the award for Daddy of the Year - how does it feel to be recognised in this way?
It feels incredible.
I’m so proud of myself for what I’ve achieved in just one year.
You've said that you used to fight being called a Daddy, but now you are embracing it. What are the characteristics of an award-winning Daddy?
I think being named Daddy of the Year means I have two qualities: I stay in great physical shape, but I’m also a mature man, not a kid anymore. I know what I want, and I go for it.
You're relatively new to the adult entertainment industry - How did you start to explore your passion for content-creation?
I opened my mind to new adventures. I asked myself, what would it be like to try porn? Would I be good at it, or was it simply not for me?
I thought about it for quite some time — not just a month or two. I had to make a decision that could open some doors and close others. And I didn’t want to blame myself for not trying something that was tempting me.
I went on a trip for my 40th birthday, and I found two different content-creators to film with me.
I came back from those shoots feeling proud of myself - I even showed the videos to my friends.
How has your work as a content-creator shaped your relationship with your body?
I’m a personal trainer, physiotherapist, and content creator. I think all of these professions are connected to body and physical condition.
I’ve always taken care of myself, so I can’t really imagine it any other way.
What are some of your goals and aspirations for the months ahead?
Maybe some brands will contact me for collaborations, and hopefully winning this award will give me more visibility.
As I said before, I only started one year ago, and it takes time to get attention.
I’m happy to have achieved so much in such a short time.
