Behind-the-scenes: Dani Robles

There's a lot to admire about Dani Robles.

As well as filming studio work, he's also delivering high-quality scenes for his fan-subscription channels.

We caught up with Dani for a behind-the-scenes look at his online life.

You've filmed a lot of scenes with the Men At Play studio - is a man in a suit a turn-on for you?

Honestly, yes - I love seeing a guy in a suit, well-groomed and looking like an executive.

Actually, what I like the most are ties - they always get my full attention. A guy wearing a shirt and tie turns me on a lot.

This 'fetish' I have with ties isn't something that just started since I began filming with Men At Play - I've always been really into guys that are wearing a tie.

Do you need to be a bit of an exhibitionist to be a porn-star?

Not necessarily, you can be a porn actor and be shy - I know several colleagues like that.

But if you are an exhibitionist - as I am - it’s much better. It helps everything flow more naturally in front of the camera.

As an exhibitionist, I really like when people totally focus on me. I love seeing people get horny when they see me naked, knowing that they want to touch me - all of that makes me very horny.

You create a lot of content for your fan-subscription channels - do you enjoy the entrepreneurial side of the business?

I really enjoy the sexual part, interacting with other guys - that's the fun part.

The business part, in terms of marketing and advertising of my content, is what I like the least.

I’m not a very active person on social media but I have no choice - I have to be, so everyone can see what I do and know where to find it.

Having to put so much energy and focus into the logistics of scheduling and filming collabs with other performers, does that make it difficult to invest emotionally in finding intimacy in real life?

Many people ask me “is it difficult to find a partner as a porn actor?”, which I always answer: It’s difficult to find a partner whoever you are and whatever your job is.

In my case, it is a little more complex because I’m monogamous - I like closed relationships.

Working as a performer in adult entertainment and wanting a relationship that's monogamous isn't compatible.

It’s true that for many people, my work is a deal-breaker. I understand that perfectly, but I don't care.

Life is full of seasons - right now, I’m in a work one. Maybe I'll be ready for a relationship after porn, but it's not something that I'm missing.

What are some of your goals and aspirations for the months ahead?

This summer marks 10 years since I started filming with Men At Play.

Trenton Ducati is one of my idols. I really respect him as a model, and I really appreciate him as a person. I’ve worked for him, but we've never filmed together. Maybe we could make that happen this year.

Other guys that I'd like to film with include Brock Magnus, and Chuck Conrad. Actually, there's quite a lot. It's going to be a busy year!
